Ford has issued a recall for more than 14,000 trucks that could lose steering control due to a defective part. The recall, announced through Transport Canada, affects 14,125 vehicles from the 2020 model year. ”On certain vehicles, the upper steering shaft could separate and cause a loss of steering control, the notice said. Ford says it will contact affected owners by mail with instructions to take their vehicle to a dealership. Dealers will inspect the upper steering shaft and repair or replace it if needed.
