Wisconsin police have made an arrest in the homicide investigation of a Canadian man who was shot and killed on Wednesday, in Sheboygan Falls near the west coast of Lake Michigan.

Giovanni Michael Robinson, who was born in Stouffville, Ont., was shot during a golf trip in the area of Munroe Street and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. He was 32.

In a press release issued Friday, the Sheboygan Falls Police Department announced that Luis E. Cruz Burgos, 35, was arrested and charged with first degree reckless homicide.

Burgos is being held at the Sheboygan Country Detention Center.

Additional details will be provided via a press conference that will be scheduled in the coming week, police said.
