A man has been charged for a break and enter at a south end home, after a resident claimed the suspect entered her bedroom before fleeing. Officers were called to the 1600 block of Badham Boulevard at about 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 19 for a report of a break and enter that had occurred earlier in the day. According to police, the victim reported a man entered her bedroom while she was in bed, noticed she was awake and quickly left without incident. An iPad and alcohol were reported stolen. Video surveillance from the home showed a man entering and exiting the residence, police said. Officers initially investigated and left the scene. However, they were called back minutes later after the suspect was reportedly trying to break into the same house again. Police say officers found the suspect once they arrived at the scene and took him into custody without incident. The man was charged with one count of breaking and entering. He made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Monday.
