A snowfall warning is in place for parts of southern Saskatchewan on Wednesday, with up to 20 centimetres expected in some areas. According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), snow will begin early Thursday morning and will continue into Friday morning, with total amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres. Snow will taper off by Friday morning, the weather agency said. Swift Current, Assiniboia, Tompkins, Weyburn, and surrounding areas are all included in the warning. ECCC advises Saskatchewan residents to check alerts and forecasts before heading out, as travel will be challenging due to reduced visibility
