A 49-year-old man has been charged after a woman was killed in a collision in December 2025. Shortly before 7:40 a.m. on Dec. 16, police were called to the intersection of Kress Street and Longman Crescent after a pick-up truck struck a female pedestrian. The 26-year-old woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. The driver, Kevin Rieger, remained at the scene and contacted police.
