A 68-year old man from Watrous, Sask. has been charged following investigation into child exploitation. The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Watrous on Dec. 10, 2025, the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said in a news release on Wednesday. Electronic devices were examined at the scene and seized by investigators. Myles Deitner was charged on Tuesday with two counts of possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material, the SPS said. He was released on court-imposed conditions and is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on March 24. Watrous is located about 120 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon and about 176 kilometres north of Regina.
